Called on Monday September 18th to set an appointment up to have a new windshield put In, the car needed to be Inspected so I took the day off work. When I made the appointment I told the gentleman I needed the first appointment of the day so after the window was done I can still have it Inspected and not have to miss another day of work.....Come the morning of the Appointment the Installer called me and told me he wouldn't make it till between 3pm and 5pm even after I had made a first thing appointment a whole week earlier. Absolutely horrible service. I canceled the appointment and went with another more reliable and reputable company immediately.
Stay far away from Auto Glass Fitters! They were selected to repair my back window by my insurance and completely failed in their customer service. Initially, I was told that they would come and repair it the next day. However, when the technician arrived, he told me he was missing a part to complete the installation. Then, the Pennsylvania office called and said it would take a week to ship this missing component. After a week of waiting, without the use of my car, I received another call from the Pennsylvania office saying that the part came, but I was told that the part appeared to be damaged. Furthermore, I was told that it would take another week for this missing part to arrive. When I voiced my concerns to an Auto Glass Fitters representative, I was blamed for driving a foreign car and was told by a supervisor that nothing could be done. Nevertheless, after I contacted my insurance, they found a shop that would do it the next day. In summary, Auto Glass Fitters demonstrates unprofessional business practices and does not deserve your business.
